Bio

Kelly started playing piano at age 6 and focused on learning classical through her college years earning a degree in piano performance. With Chopin, Beethoven and Bartok amongst her favorite composers she moved into the world of music education teaching group, semi private and private piano lessons. The first years out of college brought time composing leading to several full length albums and an EP. Vasalisa can be found on iTunes and Confessions of a Madwoman can be found on Amazon. Her work as a composer and years volunteering with professional theater has led to her composing original music for plays including Eurydice, Angels in America and Under the Milkwood.

Her love of all music inspired time learning music of the 1930s and 1940s as well as ragtime, blues and jazz. Be prepared to hear the music of Billie Holiday, jazz of the Sting era of romanticized gangsters and smokey blues
